In Piping Plan 76 there is a containment seal chamber drain for noncondensing leakage on Arrangement 2 seals. This plan is used if the pumped fluid does not condense at ambient temperatures. This system is supplied by the vendor. [API 682; G.33] This plan is typically used with a Plan 72 where the vapor pressure is tracked in the containment reservoir. Pressures to the vapor collection system that exceeds the seal chamber pressure would indicate excessive leakage. Standard features include a containment reservoir, pressure instrumentation, valves, tubing.
